Gauteng ANC accuses DA-led Tshwane administration of corruption
The party's regional leadership has called for the immediate suspension of Tshwane municipal manager Moeketsi Mosola pending the outcome of a forensic investigation into the awarding of a multibillion-rand project management contract.
According to a Sunday Times report, Mosola brought in engineering consultancy,Midrand-based GladAfrica to manage infrastructure projects worth R12 billion, despite being advised that doing so would be illegal.
ANC Tshwane regional chairperson Dr Kgosi Maepa says they have documents detailing the alleged corruption and have accused Mayor Solly Msimanga of being unaware of what is going on in his office.

It is a situation of the past two years where the City of Tshwane has not been run by the executive mayor but by other elements, which we will also in the coming weeks expose how they have actually turned a lot of projects that the ANC has

While they are expected to release details in a press conference on Wednesday, Maepa says the ANC in Tshwane will be approaching the president to push for an investigation by the Special Investigating Unit.
Msimanga has responded in a statement addressed to Radio 702, saying the ANC would do well to use their press conference on Wednesday to account for the steps they have taken to deal with the corruption for which they are responsible.
