Convened under the theme Women in Action Towards Unity, Integrity, Service and Renewal: Celebrating the Centenary of Mama Albertina Sisulu and Tata Nelson Mandela, the Conference saw over 700 delegates taking stock of the path that they have traversed since the 9th Provincial Conference and to deliberate on policies and action needed to intensify the struggle for gender equality and the attainment of a truly non-sexist, non-racial, democratic society.

We note that among the key resolutions taken by the women of our province they have resolved to work hard to reverse the regression in gender representation in leadership structures within the movement and so that women in Gauteng continue to hold their rightful place at the highest levels of our organisation.

Also, the conference made a commitment to tackle the continuing challenge of economic exclusion of women into the mainstream economy, called for the review of the Domestic Violence Act to help in strengthening the fight against the cancerous scourge of gender-based violence and femicide. It further welcomed the decision by the ANC in Gauteng to rapidly release land to our people calling for the convening of a Land Imbizo to ensure that women are prioritized as this program is being implemented by the province.

The conference which was characterised by revolutionary discipline and comradeship ushered in a new leadership collective as follows:
